Transforming Chaotic and Reactive Dogs into Regulated and Reliable Companions

The Vision

A future where chaotic and reactive dogs are understood rather than labelled, and where owners have the exact knowledge and confidence to build strong, reliable foundations. My goal is to help you rebuild your relationship with your dog so you can stop managing the chaos and actually enjoy life together.

The Mission

Paws of Wisdom helps chaotic, reactive and dysregulated dogs in family homes become regulated and reliable companions by teaching owners how to build the right foundations, systems, structure, regulation, and clear communication.

About Junior

Junior is the founder of Paws of Wisdom, a platform dedicated to helping chaotic and reactive dogs become regulated and reliable companions.

Working with dogs was never part of the plan...

After losing his mum to cancer, Junior began walking dogs to fill the space that loss had left behind. It was during this time that he met a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Jasper, a dog who would unknowingly change the entire trajectory of his life.

Jasper was far from an easy dog...

Highly reactive, constantly on edge, and completely chaotic, Junior quickly found himself completely exhausted and out of his depth. The generic training advice didn't work, and even after seeking professional help, he was even told by one trainer that euthanasia might be the best option.

Instead of giving up, he built a system...

Refusing to accept that answer, Junior immersed himself in the science of dog behaviour and training. He completed accredited studies with the British College of Canine Studies, learned from top trainers + behaviourists, and spent hours applying what he learned in real-world scenarios with Jasper. Through patience, education, and relentless trial and error, Jasper transformed from an unpredictable chaotic mess into a profoundly regulated and reliable companion.

That journey became the foundation of Paws of Wisdom.

A Regulation-First Approach

Today, Junior empowers other overwhelmed dog owners who feel stuck, exhausted, and unsure where to turn. His work focuses on a regulation-first approach and helps owners understand how stress, a dysregulated nervous system, and rehearsed chaos shape their dog’s actions, and how building the right foundations can change everything.

A Mission Driven by Time

Following Jasper’s passing due to dementia, Junior’s mission became intensely personal. His ultimate goal is to help owners build stronger and reliable relationships with their dogs now, so they can actually enjoy the life they imagined together before time runs out.

Junior continues to study dog behaviour daily, constantly refining his approach and dedicating his time to learning, teaching, and perfecting the systems that help dogs and their owners finally find peace.
